Braid/twist Question

The sides of my hair are thinning (currently using Dr. Miracle product). What kind of braid/twist style can I get that will not cause too much stress to my sides?

The two-strand twist has worked best for my hair. I used to three strand corn row it, but once I began doing two strand twists instead, I immediately noticed the difference in the tension on my hair. Also with the two strand twists, it doesn't kink or knot up as much either. :D

I like to wear my extensions for 1 month and half to 2 months tops. Yes you can wash your hair when wearing box braids, here is a good video about how to do this:

I would say any twist style that allows your edges to relax. No elastic or tight head bands around the head either. If your hair is medium to long you can try 5 - 8 big two strand twists and then untwist them and tuck them in at the centre of your head or in the middle.
